At the core I love to learn. I especially love learning through conversation with company founders, complimentary customers, passionate volunteers and savvy elected officials. I’ve built a thriving freelance business by paying attention, prompting publications on articles I believe they would like and expanding the roles in my “regular” jobs to include articles and PR-type outreach.

I didn’t plan to be a writer; my career grew through word of mouth and a bit of proactive inquiry as I perceived opportunities based on the aspects of writing I enjoy.
